“Traveling Companions”

I have been thinking about how Covid restrictions are easing up and most of the country is now open for travel and moving around from place to place. So, I thought this week I would paint a story to reflect our lives this week.

Our country is still hurting from centuries of social injustice. I painted this adorable little French Bulldog and his human because I thought the pup’s eyes are so expressive and he is watching us humans to see if they will make the right decisions. Ha, I also made the pup a bit “pouty.” He’s still adorable, none the less!

I hope we all keep watching, looking, and keeping on guard to maintain the march forward that hundreds of thousands of peaceful protestors across our great country have begun.
