ABOUT THIS PAINTING
The 2020 Presidential campaign was in full swing, and after several requests for a Joe Biden portrait, I painted "Amtrak Joe." The title of the painting, "Amtrak Joe," is a reference to Joe Biden's 30+ years tenure in the Senate and his daily commute to his job as US Senator in Washington DC via Amtrak train. Biden rode the Amtrak Train daily from his home in Delaware to his job in Washington DC and back again, so he could be with his family each evening.
“Amtrak Joe” is one of my "Patriotic Portraits" Series. The series started with Dr. Fauci, and now includes “Amtrak Joe” and “Kamala Harris.” I paint the US Flag in the background of each Patriotic Portrait.
