Digital painting is a bit laborious for me. But, today, I was sitting at my computer and thought, “Oh, I’ll just do today’s flower digitally!”

For some reason, I always think its a quick and easy way to get a painting done, but honestly, I don’t love the process.

I definitely prefer smushing oil paint around on a canvas!

The nice side of digital paintings, is that they are easily shared!

The other cool thing about digital paintings, is that, yes, they are original art!

I can print the paintings on my printer or to a canvas print vendor. But they are always an original piece of art!

The reason why my digital paintings are “originals” and not “prints” is that they are not prints of an original! The digital file is the original!

Check back on my IG or here on Substack. I really am gonna try to make a new February Flower painting each day!

Have a “Minty” Day!
