“Bessie Coleman.” Women Who Shatter Barriers.
Original Digital Oil Painting
I created “Bessie Coleman” as an original digital oil painting, using Photoshop Oil Brushes, iMac27, and Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet.
The digital painting is available as a Limited Series of 50 Prints.
Which means that when 50 have been printed, the digital painting is no longer available for sale.
Fine Art America is handling the sale, printing, fulfillment, and shipping of “Bessie Coleman, Women Who Shatter Barriers.”
About Bessie Coleman:
Ms. Coleman soared across the sky as the first Black, and the first Native American, woman pilot. Known for performing flying tricks, Coleman’s nicknames were; “Brave Bessie,” “Queen Bess,” and “The Only Race Aviatrix in the World.” Her goal was to encourage women and Black Americans to reach their dreams. Sadly, her career ended early with a tragic plane crash, but her life continues to inspire people around the world.
Work in Progress
Work In Progress - Painting with a Wacom Intuos Pro Tablet , Wacom Pen on a iMac. I painting the digital painting with the exact same process that I use oil paints. I start with drawing a drawing on the canvas and then I paint with the oils! Ha, the digital painting took me longer than if I would have painted with actual oil paint & brushes!
