For the underpainting (these paints are very fast drying and perfect for underpainting):

Gamblin Gamsol Oderless Mineral Spirits to dilute the above paints into almost a "wash"

Mars Black (because sometimes you just need that pure black!)

Any hardware store should be able to cut a piece of glass for you.

CONTAINER FOR ALL THE SUPPLIES

I use a tool box from any hardware store. You should store your paints horizontal.

All these supplies get pricey - so these items are my mid-level grade recommendations but try to economize wherever possible! For example,  a tube of Cadmium Yellow in the brand I use is $55! But, one tube lasts me for over a year.
