Women Who Shatter Barriers

I began this ongoing portrait series in March 2018. Inspired by the "Me Too" movement, I want to express my reverence to the many brave, talented, brilliant and courageous women that shatter barriers and have changed the world during my lifetime. If you click on the individual images, it will take you to my website where I speak a bit about each woman and their influence.

Requests Welcome...

If you know a woman or admire a woman who you'd like to see included in the series. Let me know!!

Banksy in Amsterdam

"Laugh Now, Banksy in Amsterdam." 18x24. Oil on Stretched Canvas. I created this painting from our visit to the MOCO in Amsterdam. It was crazy to see Banksy's work in a museum. The MOCO did an amazing job. Outdoor and indoor exhibits of Banksy's anarchist stencils and creations salvaged from various outposts in London. If you ever get the chance to visit Amsterdam - I highly recommend a visit!

I love this composition, cuz Banksy wants folks to THINK! And, as you can see the two gentleman (Bruce on the left) in the painting are immersed in learning about the various "Laugh Now" paintings, where they were illegally posted, and Banksy's reactions to the current state of the world.
