This painting is a bit ambitious with all the architectural elements. But, I'm having fun painting it! This long-time icon in Chestnut Hill has recently closed. The day I photographed the Cheese Shop for this painting, they were hosting a "Farewell" Open House for all their patrons, friends and neighbors. It was quite a lively day, and I was lucky to speak with the owners and their family and of course purchase a tasty container of their signature cheese spread.
