Together we are facing an unprecedented crisis. During these uncertain times, many of us are leaning on activities and thoughts that give us comfort.
I am learning that, for a growing number of people, art and poetry are adding a dimension of distraction, joy, and fun to their day. Today, I am sharing "Tania." in hopes this painting gives a moment of relief from your daily worries.

The subject of the painting, Tania, is a beautiful young woman whom I discovered on the sktchyapp. Her thoughtful gaze inspired me to combine the age-old wisdom of Rumi with a portrait of this young woman. "Tania" is one of a continuing series of soulful portraits accompanied by a soulful poem.
