I made this portrait in fountain pen ink and pastel pencil This is my first portrait using Pastel Pencils! I really love it. Lots of cross-hatching to get the colors right!

I am so thankful for all the inspiring muses that lend their images to artists like myself for this April 2020 Sktchy #30Faces30Days Challenge.

All the portraits are soulful. Many are contemplative, some are humorous. Each one digs deep into the soul of the muse who inspired the portrait.

It has been lots of work to make a portrait each day. I miss a day here and there and just try to catch as I go! But, this challenge has been so fun. Each day I look forward to the next muse and making their portrait!

I hope you enjoy all these beautiful faces. I have so much fun making these drawings & watercolors. My goal is to eventually put poetry to most of them!
