Taos Pueblo - Choker Pendant Necklace

Taos Pueblo - Choker Pendant Necklace
Why restrict art to walls, when you can wear it. Add a splash of creativity to your unique spirit with an art earring handmade just for you. Each art choker necklace is meticulously designed & crafted with select images from my original oil paintings.
The Story
Inspired by a visit to New Mexico I am deeply moved and inspired by the beauty of the Taos Pueblo village and the people that live within the village. The homes in my paintings are said to be constructed between 1000 and 1450 A.D. The village is the oldest continuously inhabited community in the US.
How I Make the Choker Pendant Necklace
The wearable art choker pendant measures 1 inch in diameter. The pendant is created from paper images of my original oil paintings and decoupaged onto extremely lightweight laser-cut birch wood.
Triple coated with matte sealer, the choker pendants are extremely durable and will look lovely for many years to come. They are water & sweat resistant, but please do not shower or swim with them.
The pendant hangs on a 17-18 inch long leather cord necklace. The cord is 2mm diameter black leather with a silver tone clasp and 2 inch extender.
All pieces are created by hand, so no two items are identical. That's the beauty of the product! Please allow for slight variances from item to item.
I take every step to ensure the image is as accurate as possible to the original painting. However variations in color may occur due to monitor differences.
I hope you enjoy my earrings as much as I enjoy creating them!
You can special order, if out of stock, at no extra fee. Please allow 4 business days to ship.
