The Story

This painting of my husband wake boarding on Raystown Lake in Central PA is a labor of love! My goal in this painting is to capture the energy of the water which is vigorously matched by my husband's efforts to master the wake and the board! Raystown Lake is a little slice of untouched wonder. The lake meanders for 35 beautiful miles. Engineered as flood prevention for the Juniata River, it is a treat for houseboats, speedboats, water sports, cliff divers, scuba divers, campers and the best mountain bike trails in the country. Anyone that loves peace & quiet with a bit of adventure mixed in!

How I Make the Choker Pendant Necklace

The wearable art choker pendant measures 1 inch in diameter. The pendant is created from paper images of my original oil paintings and decoupaged onto extremely lightweight laser-cut birch wood. 

Triple coated with matte sealer,  the choker pendants are extremely durable and will look lovely for many years to come. They are water & sweat resistant, but please do not shower or swim with them.  

The pendant hangs on a 17-18 inch long leather cord necklace. The cord is 2mm diameter black leather with a silver tone clasp and 2 inch extender.

All pieces are created by hand, so no two items are identical. That's the beauty of the product! Please allow for slight variances from item to item.

I take every step to ensure the image is as accurate as possible to the original painting. However variations in color may occur due to monitor differences.
