The Story

Artists have been creating studies of pears throughout the centuries. Pears present the artist with a method to examine color, shape, and composition. All through the mechanism of a lovely pear! One lazy afternoon, I decided to experiment with color and voila! Lovely pears! Now, for you to enjoy as wearable art!

How I Make the Choker Pendant Necklace

The wearable art choker pendant measures 1 inch in diameter. The pendant is created from paper images of my original oil paintings and decoupaged onto extremely lightweight laser-cut birch wood. 

Triple coated with matte sealer,  the choker pendants are extremely durable and will look lovely for many years to come. They are water & sweat resistant, but please do not shower or swim with them.  

The pendant hangs on a 17-18 inch long leather cord necklace. The cord is 2mm diameter black leather with a silver tone clasp and 2 inch extender.

All pieces are created by hand, so no two items are identical. That's the beauty of the product! Please allow for slight variances from item to item.

I take every step to ensure the image is as accurate as possible to the original painting. However variations in color may occur due to monitor differences.
