Bailey & Emily is the first of my poetry series. My inspiration for a poetry series arose when I saw a photo of Bailey, the subject of this painting, on the Sktchy app. I immediately knew I had to make some kind of art for her. I loved the way she is looking down off the canvas. I thought an Emily Dickinson poem might work! So, I searched through a book of Emily Dickinson poems and found this perfect poem for this painting!
