The Story — Taos Pueblo #2
Inspired by a recent visit to New Mexico I am deeply moved and inspired by the beauty of the Taos Pueblo village and the people that live within the village. The homes in my paintings are said to be constructed between 1000 and 1450 A.D. The village is the oldest continuously inhabited community in the US.
The Pueblo is made entirely of adobe. The bee-hive shaped structures in the center of this painting is a horno oven, which are still used today. During our visit to Taos Pueblo, we were fortunate to sample the tasty breads baked in the ovens by local residents.
The Pueblo is a spiritually moving and inspirational experience. I hope my paintings bring to you the serenity and beauty of Taos Pueblo.
THE ORIGINAL PAINTING ARRIVES AT YOUR HOME FRAMED AND READY TO HANG.
